FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building industry, namely to devices for the connection of shafts and transfer of rotation. A friction clutch includes a housing, a drive shaft and a driven shaft, a friction disc and springs. The housing is made in the form of a box-type section, at which on opposite sides there mounted in bearing assemblies are the drive and driven shafts; with that, in each of them, inside the housing there are spline connections, the spline shafts of which contact the springs on one side and are provided with friction discs on the other side. Between the friction discs on the central axis in a mounting seat there arranged is a ball, and two hold-down rollers mounted on the hold-down levers are arranged on the outer side on opposite sides; the above levers are hinged inside the housing and compressed to each other by means of a spring. A cam connected to a turning lever is installed between free ends of the hold-down levers.
EFFECT: improved reliability and increased durability of the device.
