SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heel that contains a translucent body attached to the footwear sole (which a light source holder positioned on the body wall on the sole side for attachment of a LED device emitting light during oscillation) and a replaceable heelpiece; the inner surface of the body wall has a tonic/light reflecting coating excluding visibility of the LED device (while inactive) from the outside.

EFFECT: ensuring the footwear wearer's visibility during night-time enhancing safety, for instance, while on the road.
