FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: elastic damping support of a turbo-machine rotor includes a bearing installed on a shaft and a stator element. The stator element includes a shell and a shell fixed on the outer ring of the bearing. The latter shell is connected to the stator element by means of a split bushing and forms together with it a damping cavity restricted by seals. On opposite sections of the shells, which are located between the split bushing and the seal that is the closest to it, there are splines and mating splines so that a gap is formed between them. Preferably, the splines and the mating splines have straight sides.
EFFECT: improving reliability owing to reducing probable destruction of a split bushing in case of non-standard operation of a turbo-machine support, and namely, in case of partial transmission of torque from the shaft to the stator element.
