FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to missile engineering, namely to a head separation and stabilisation system. The head separation and stabilisation system represents a combat compartment and an envelope with a bottom. A parachute stabilisation system and a separation assembly are arranged in the envelope. The parachute stabilisation system is made in the form of a container with a bottom. Additionally, the separation system is provided with a fixation mechanism of a gas-dynamic type. The fixation mechanism housing is made in the form of two toroid-shaped cover plates attached to each other with guide screws. A piston ring movably fixed in a central gas line is arranged between the cover plates of the fixation mechanism. The gas line connects an actuating mechanism of the combat compartment, an accumulation zone and a working zone of the separation assembly. Fixation elements of a segment type are arranged above the ring in openings of one of the cover plates of the mechanism. The elements interact with a mating angular surface of a groove made in the head envelope. In the working zone of the mechanism, which is separated from a fault chamber by means of the piston ring, there arranged are forcing elements attaching the ring and the cover plate of the fixation mechanism.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability of a separation system.
