FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises administering to calves of the antiviral preparation Iodantipyrine. Simultaneously, the mineral feed additive Vitartil is administered in a dose of 0.2±0.05 g/kg body weight once a day for three days.
EFFECT: use of claimed method enables to reduce the severity of manifestation of clinical signs, to reduce the time of virus excretion with nasal secretions, to increase the bactericidal activity of the blood serum of calves and metabolic processes in the body of animals, increases the average daily live weight gain of calves.
