SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in power amplifiers of broadband radio transmitters. The harmonic filter for a short-wave transmitter comprises N LC-filters which are switched at the input and the output by input and output switches, each filter comprising a first and a second inductance coil in longitudinal arms connected to each other, and a capacitor connected between the point of connection of the inductance coils and a common bus, a variable capacitor which is common for all LC-filters; each LC-filter includes a step-down autotransformer, the secondary winding of which is connected in parallel to the capacitor, and the primary winding to the variable capacitor through one of N additional switches, wherein the variable capacitor is in form of a set of capacitors which are switched by a control device.
EFFECT: providing matching in the entire operating frequency band of a radio transmitter while simplifying tuning processes.
