FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method of reduction of gas flow friction on the streamlined surface by means of transversal suction of the flow through punching in the streamlined surface consists in that the transversal gas suction is performed discretely on separate punched sections located sequentially on the streamlined surface along the flowline. Periodically the suction is alternated with transversal blow-out. Alternating suction and blow-out are performed in differentiated manner with shift of phases of periodic suction and blow-out on the next sections, creating thus at the streamlined surface the transversal waves running in the flowline. Value of speed of transversal progressive waves at the streamlined surface create equal or close to the gas flow speed on the streamlined surface. Amplitude of transversal progressive waves is created close to thickness of the boundary layer on the streamlined surface at termination of suction and blow-out.

EFFECT: decrease of power expenditures.
