FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed bath comprises tank, porous conveyor belt, horizontal flute and pump communicated with said tank and said flute. Pump and tank can develop circulating flow of liquid nitrogen above the flute upper surface in first direction and in second direction under flute lower surface, opposite said first one. Method of bath application comprises the use of pump to develop liquid nitrogen flow circulation, feed of material to be frozen, at least partially, into liquid nitrogen flow and application of porous conveyor belt for grip of frozen material.
EFFECT: decreased heat absorption by pelletisers, power saving.
