FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to earth-moving, road-construction, agricultural and traction machines, in particular to bulldosers. The closed-loop hydrostatic transmission (HST) control system of machine contains operator panel, transmission panel and HST parameter sensors including hydraulic motor angular velocity sensors, drain line oil temperature and pressure sensors, control system oil pressure sensors, hydraulic tank oil temperature sensors, filter contamination sensors, replenishment pump suction hydraulic line pressure sensors, HST power line pressure sensors. Data from transmission performance sensors is processed and sent to operator in digital form and as graphical images characterising normal, prefault and faulty condition of assemblies and aggregates of HST. Instructions and recommendations for operator are generated informing him about necessity to stop machine operation, to carry out its routine and scheduled maintenance or to change HST operation mode. Operator information about spontaneous machine downhill movement and about HST transition into hydrostatic braking mode is implemented. Additionally, sensor operability monitoring, HST real-time working conditions recording and its remote control using radio communication channel are performed.

EFFECT: higher operating reliability and durability of transmission while reducing machine maintenance and repair (downtime) periods due to operative, more full and timely identification of HST prefault condition.
