FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: device for prevention going off guides for half-doors (2) of lift or elevator of type equipped with at least one guiding shoe on lower or upper end which shoe is capable to slide in groove (5) formed in lower door sill (6) or formed at the top of door contains element connected with the shoe or half-door (2) which element is formed as hook to interact with at least one flanged edge (11) of groove (5) by engaging with it in response to pressure acting on the half-door (2) which pressure creates tendency of shoe going off guides. The element is made of bimetal material and has two opposite surfaces of different materials creating thermocouple.
EFFECT: materials forming each of two surfaces have different thermal-expansion coefficients so that the element will engage with at least one corresponding flanged edge (11) of groove (5) in response to heating a half-door (2).
