SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in industrial and household appliances and units as a DC motor generator. The brushless DC motor-generator contains an armature rotating around the fixed stator. The rotating anchor is a group of permanent toroidal magnets which are symmetrically distributed along a circumference. Their magnetic poles are located on flat end surfaces and form discontinuous unidirectional magnetic flux along this circle. The winding of the fixed stator is implemented on circular frame with round cross section the axis of symmetry of which is a circle coinciding with the circle that is an axis of symmetry of the rotating armature. The device can be used as an electric generator or as an electric motor.

EFFECT: improvement of reliability, increase of service life and decrease of pulsations of current.
