FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: unit comprises two diagnosing units: the first is located at the traction substation while the other is located at the mobile laboratory of electric transport. The units are interconnected by the communication line using data overlay to power supply circuit by means of modems. The unit at the substation comprises busbars potential meter, a modem; the unit at the mobile laboratory comprises a processor, a modem, a modulator, resistance meters, current meters, potential meters, a navigator, the unit is coupled to the external computer through the interface converter.
EFFECT: diagnosing unit for direct-current electric-traction network in intended to diagnose and to measure resistance and losses of electricity in elements of traction network for tramways, trolleybuses and underground.
