FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe rolling. ESR ingots-billets sized to 640×1750 are heated to 1230-1250°C, pierced at helical rolling mill to sleeves sized to 670×int.465×2830 mm to be rolled at Pilger mill with jar carbon to rerolled 590×85×3900 mm pipes. Mot rolled Pilger heads are removed from rerolled pipes and seed ends, trimmed, bored and turned to 580±1.0×74.5±1.0×3300 mm jackets-billets. Steel "08X18H10T" 25±1.0 mm deep ply is arc welded on inner surface of the latter and re-bored to bimetal 580±1.0×int.430±1.0×95±1.0×3300 mm billets. The latter are heated to 1250-1260°C, blown and rolled at Pilger mill to hot rolled tube stock sized to 426×40×8500 mm and rerolled at CPR 450 mill to commercial cold-rolled bimetal 351×36×11000 mm pipes with clad ply depth of 7±2 mm of "08X18H10T" grade steel.
EFFECT: lower metal input, decreased clad ply flaws.
