SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a threonine-producer strain. The strain of Escherichia coli ARSIM B-11820 is obtained by the inactivation of the strain of Escherichia coli ARSIM B-3996 of genes poxB and sstT at the background of an increased expression of the gene gaIP by the substitution of its natural promoter with the synthetic promoter Ptac3 and increased expression of genes of the operon thrABC by the substitution of its natural promoter with the phage promoter PA1, removal of the sequence of the regulatory peptide thrL and introduction of the densensitising mutation thrA433.

EFFECT: obtained strain makes it possible to obtain L-threonine with high efficiency.
