FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the lighting devices comprising luminophor-based white light-emitting diodes (LED). The lighting device (400) includes a light source (403) with white appearance in the switched-on state and colour appearance in the switched-off state, a switch-selectable optical element (404). The colour appearance of the light source is caused by photoluminescent material of the light source. The switch-selectable optical element has a conducting state and the state reflecting in the range of wavelength in which the light source absorbs light. It results in white appearance of the lighting device when the light source is in the switched-off state, and the switch-selectable optical element is in the reflecting state. The lighting device is designed as a lamp with an optical deepening (401) where the light source, and the window (402) fitted with the switch-selectable optical element (404) is located.
EFFECT: creation of the lighting device which is characterised by white appearance in the switched-off state.
