FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insecticide compositions and can be used to control keratophage insects, for treating potential habitats thereof and for protecting keratin-containing materials, e.g. wool, fur and items made therefrom. The insecticide composition contains an active substance permethrin 0.1-2 wt %; transfluthrin 0.05-2 wt %; pyriproxyfen 0.05-2 wt % and auxiliary substances - the balance. The auxiliary substances used are a solvent or propellant. The composition can additionally contain synergists, preservatives, antioxidants, fragrances and essential oils.
EFFECT: disclosed insecticide composition has a qualitative and quantitative composition which improves effectiveness thereof and provides prolonged effect when controlling keratophage insects.
