FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in application to the tightened threaded connection of a torque, translation of a threaded connection from a rest state in a motion state, rotation to a pre-set angle no more than 8÷10°, and torque measurement at achievement by an angle of rotation of a preset value. The torque is apllied to a threaded connection in the unscrewing direction, the actual angle of unscrewing of the threaded connection is measured. Then the threaded connection is rotated in the direction of screwing up. At rotation of the threaded connection to the angle measured at unscrewing the torque measurement is performed, and the measured torque value will correspond to threaded connection tightening torque. The torque-measuring wrench contains the moment sensor, the amplifier, the analog-digital converter, the first and second memory registers, the rotation angle sensor, the first impulse counter, the digital indicator, the first and second indication elements, the control button, the bus "Logical Unit Voltage", the second pulse counter, the first and second comparators, the first and second triggers, it is fitted with the first, second, third and fourth AND gates, NOT gate, the third indication element and the analog comparator.
