METHOD OF FORMATION OF PARAMETRIC ANTENNA IN MARINE CONDITIONS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G10K11/00

Abstract RU 2550588 C1

FIELD: radio-engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of formation of parametric antenna in marine conditions including location on the water area of the emitting and receiving transducers, its scanning by LF acoustic signals of stabilized frequency, with creation of zone of non-linear interaction and parametric conversion of scanning and measured information waves with different physical nature, ensuring possibility of reception of the parametric converted scanning waves and to restore according to them the input characteristics of the measured information waves considering their parametric and frequency-time conversion differs in that the scanning parametric antenna if formed as multi-beam spatial advanced antenna, for this undirected transmitting transducers are used, they are located in center of the controlled water area, and they are arranged at three levels through depth both at axis of the underwater acoustic channel, and above and below it. The receiving blocks are made similar to each other, located through depth similarly to the radiating transducer and are arranged relatively to the radiating center along circle or perimeter of the controlled water area after 45°. Each of the receiving blocks is formed out of three undirected transducers, that are arranged in the vertical plane along triangles, preferably oblique triangle, which bases are on one vertical, and tops looking on the emitters. The parametric converted scanning signals supplied from each radiating transducer are received by each single receiving transducer of each receiving unit. Besides, the scanning parametric antenna is formed as set of formed in vertical plane multi-beam parametric antennas oriented radially from the center to periphery, and at equal distances from the neighbouring antennas. Besides, located in the vertical plane receiving units are formed as long multi-element discrete antenna. Distances between transducers of the receiving units in the vertical plane are set in accordance with the correlation properties of the scanned field.

EFFECT: invention ensures long and ultra-long parametric reception in water of waves with different physical nature spreading from atmosphere, ocean and Earth crust, generated by the artificial objects, phenomena and processes in frequency band covering hundreds-tens-units-fraction of Herz, and determination of the distance and depth of marine sources in water area, including positioned beyond water area where the multi-beam parametric antenna is formed.
