SUBSTANCE: method of connection of thin-walled open section element includes making on the element end wall of a longitudinal cut, flanging of the formed parts of a wall, lapping of the rod end on the attached detail and installation of fasteners. The longitudinal cut of a wall is performed in its middle part, and then on the wall width the sheet detail with symmetric triangular cut with top in a point of the longitudinal cut end is placed, and bending of wall parts is performed until contact with the external surface of a sheet detail. Fasteners are installed both within the wall parts flanged on a sheet detail, and within the triangular cut of a sheet detail section triangle cut.

EFFECT: increase of load bearing capacity of connecting unit.
