SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shotguns, in particular to safety devices. The shotgun contains barrel extension with barrel, barrel band connected with bolt, safety mechanism with bolt stop and spring-loaded lock installed in the barrel band, firing trigger comprising double-arm lever and trigger. The safety mechanism is provided with slide installed in the groove made in the band with possibility to execute reciprocating movement and interacting with the bolt stop installed with possibility of rotation, and bolt with made groove for slide entry. Double-arm lever by one arm interacts with trigger, and by another arm interacts with slide. The slide in extreme positions is locked by the spring-loaded latch.

EFFECT: increased operation reliability of the safety mechanism, and improved serviceability.
