FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is lighting system to control plants growth, at that the system contains: group of solid-state light sources made with possibility to emit light with pre-set wave length of range of wave length; and cooling unit containing tube with at least one output hole to produce gaseous cooling medium and multiple output holes to release the specified gaseous cooling medium from the specified cooling unit, at that the cooling unit is in mechanical and thermal contact with the specified light sources. Invention also is method of plants growth control in the greenhouse or in growth chamber.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility of acceleration of the plant photosynthesis by change of the conditions (light intensity, temperature, CO2 concentration) locally around the plant.
