FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A jet turbine engine is double-flow and two-shaft; with that, it includes at least eight modules mounted preferably as per a module-assembly system, including a high and low pressure compressor, which are separated with an intermediate housing, the main combustion chamber, an air-to-air heat exchanger, high and low pressure turbines, a mixer, the front device, an afterburner and an all-mode jet nozzle. The engine includes a gear box of propulsion units. The mounted engine is tested for influence of climatic conditions on the main operating characteristics of the compressor. Tests are performed with measurement of operating parameters of the engine in different modes.
EFFECT: invention allows improving thrust, as well as reliability of operating characteristics for different temperature and climatic conditions and engine operating modes, and with that, it allows for improvement of representativeness of test results.
