FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A batch production method of a gas-turbine engine (GTE) involves manufacture of parts and completing of assembly units, components and assemblies of modules and systems of the engine. Modules in the number of at least eight are assembled. The engine is assembled module-by-module and made as two-stroke and two-shaft. After assembly is completed, GTE is tested at least as per one of the programmes - a multicycle for gas-dynamic stability or for influence of climatic conditions on the main operating characteristics of the engine. Besides, a gas-turbine engine made according to the present method is described.
EFFECT: invention allows improving thrust, reliability of operating characteristics of GTE and representativeness of test results for different gas-dynamic operating situations of the engine.
