FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal working. Proposed device comprises pneumatic cylinder with body, piston reciprocating therein and rod secured thereto and extending through body bore to displace between extreme extended and extreme pulled-in positions at piston reciprocation. Besides, it comprises electronic control unit and valve system controlled thereby and connected via working lines with head and rod ends in cylinder body. At least one metal plate is fixed inside cylinder body to define the extreme position of said piston or said rod. Note here that said metal plate and piston are electrically connected with control unit to make the piston contact with metal plate close the electric circuit to signal to control unit about extreme positions of piston and rod.
EFFECT: reliable and precise indication of the piston extreme position.
