FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during combustion of brown coals in furnaces of thermal power plants/combined heat and power stations/hydroelectric power stations to increase economic and ecological efficiency of the fuel cycle due to use of valuable hydrometallurgical raw material produced during brown coal preparation for burning. Method of brown coal preparation for hydrometallurgical processing by separation of the mineral component of the raw material from the energetic carbon-bearing component of the raw material during the latter burning in the furnace of the heat thermal power plants means that separation of the mineral component of the raw material is performed sequentially by stages starting from the process of the raw material preparation for burning. At the first stage after grinding of the produced raw material and jigging the fist intermediate mineral product is delivered to the concentration table. At the second stage after classification of the fine ground jigged coal the second intermediate mineral product from the bottom drain is delivered to the concentration table. At the third stage after concentration table the third intermediate mineral product from the bottom drain is delivered for floatation. At the force stage after floatation the first target product as bulk concentrate of heavy rare metals and second target product in form of sulphides of nonferrous metals are produced. At the fifth stage after burning of the energetic carbon-bearing component in form of rich ground coal from top drain of the classifier the third target product - ash-loss and forth target product - ash-slag wastes are produced, then the produced products are subjected to selective hydrometallurgical processing.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of brown coals processing, production of several target products, that can be used as raw material source to extract valuable metals.
