FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed method, which includes: selecting, for an equilibrium random process, its characteristics and considering said characteristics as coordinates of phase space in which the equilibrium random process occurs; constructing, for the investigated equilibrium random process in accordance with prior information on said process, an evolution-simulation model (ESM), mutually indicating coordinates of said phase space; loading the ESM into the memory of a processor device without selected external factors; measuring, by corresponding sensors, initial characteristics of the investigated equilibrium random process and inputting said characteristics into the memory of the processor device as input signals for the ESM; calculating an integral characteristic of the equilibrium random process and its variation interval; selecting in said variation interval equidistant points and performing, in automatic mode at each of the selected points, calculation of realisations of values of said factor combined with the integral characteristic and corresponding values of the same factor on a smoothing polynomial curve and calculating the correlation ratio of the factor and the integral characteristic, and establishing the variation limits of the factor physically allowable in said conditions; applying a procedure for narrowing the variation range of external factors by switching from an external factor with a high correlation to an external factor with a lower value and using the external factors with the narrowed range as ambient parameter values matched with optimum control of the equilibrium random process.

EFFECT: enabling automatic selection of ambient parameter values matched with optimum control of an equilibrium random process.
