ELECTRICAL MACHINE WINDING DRYING METHOD Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC H02K15/12

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in method of drying of the electrical machine winding the windings are heated by a high frequency current source with the connected heater designed as an induction coil, and power supply and control of the high frequency current source are performed using the power unit with the induction coil control system. The induction coil is made spiral and for drying it is inserted inside the electric motor axially with the deviation ±1.5 mm, locating the spiral of the induction coil in an axial direction uniformly with reference to the electric motor stator so that magnetic power lines generated by the induction coil, were directed perpendicularly to interleaving of the magnetic circuit; then through the power unit with the control system the high frequency current source is switched on, the stator winding is warmed up to the required temperature and held up to the state of lacquer shrinkage. After completion of heating the current source is disconnected, and the induction coil is removed from the electric motor.

EFFECT: simplification of the winding drying device, decrease of weight, possibility of use in small repair shops, lowering of labour input of shrinkage process, saving of the electric power for drying.
