FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: fire-obstructive curtain consisting of curtain webs, vertical guides, a counterweight in the lower part of the web, rotating drums connected with an electric drive, according to the invention comprises an electric drive mounted in a separate premises, equipped with an electric motor with an integrated brake, a drive of limit switches controlling the upper and lower provisions of the curtain webs and providing remote control of the process of lowering and raising the curtain webs in an automatic mode upon the fire alarm signal, a brake clutch, which reduces the rate of lowering the curtain under the action of a counterweight when the electric motor and the brake is switched off. The fire-resistant webs pressed to each other by deflecting rollers are wound on the drums located in a staggered order, and kinematically connected to each other in two lines by the clutch with the drive and the intermediate shafts, at that the position of the deflecting rollers enables to accommodate a counterweight in an elevated position between two lines of the drums.

EFFECT: device provides reliable operation under conditions of ship motions and exposure to corrosive environment, has a minimum height clearance among the devices of this type, it enables to minimize the increase in height of bilges during installation of fire-obstructive curtains, which is very important for ships, since the area of these premises is large.
