FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: table dishwasher, comprising: (a) a pallet for containing items to be washed; and (b) a waterproof casing located above the pallet, comprising two fixed side elements and a curved central element having generally the shape of a cylindrical shell, the axis of which extends horizontally, and the lower part of which is cut and connected to the upper edge of the pallet; and the central part comprises a fixed part connected to the side elements and the door connected pivotally to the side elements and having the ability to rotate between the closed position in which it forms a part of the cylindrical shell, and an open position in which it is at least partially superimposed on the fixed part; at that the casing additionally comprises a sealing means for the door, comprising curvilinear lateral seal and curvilinear bearing surfaces extending along the side edges of the door, and when closing the door a contact pressure is created between the lateral seal and the bearing surfaces in the direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the door, at that the radius of curvature of lateral seals substantially coincides with the radius of curvature of the bearing surfaces and the centre of curvature of the lateral seals is biased relative to the centre of curvature of the bearing surfaces.
