SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portable servicing devices. This device comprises communication module, display and user's input module and controller connected with production process communication module, user input device and display. Controller is used to access the electronic description of the device (EDD) including the EDD menu and to instruction containing the list of servicing jobs base on the task and set of fast-change keys relates with the list of servicing jobs based on the task. List of servicing jobs is generated on the basis of task at appropriate display. User input is received for selection of the servicing job based on the task from the task-based list and selection of fast-change keys sequence. Guide for detection of sequence of keys depression is used for fast transition to selected servicing job on the task basis and for automatic navigation in field EDD device menu.
EFFECT: simplified interaction with field device owing to the use of hot keys.
