FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and consists in method of obtaining orthopaedic pad, manufactured from elastomer, including at least one liquid substance, which is not chemically bound with mesh structure of elastomer, in particular from hydrophilic polyurethane gel. Polymerised pad is subjected to stage of preliminary processing in form of vacuum processing with residual pressure from 0.1 to 100 mbar and/or process of drying at temperature from 30°C to 60°C, at which volatile components are removed from the surface. Pad is immediately after it covered with polymer dry sliding film from poly-para-xylylene. Applied method of coating application represents process of chemical (CVD) of physical (PVD) vapour deposition. Invention also relates to orthopaedic pad, manufactured by claimed method.
EFFECT: friction-reducing coating, which increases resistance to adherence of surfaces, is applied with homogeneous strong adherence, which is strong and does not impair functional properties of material.
