FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military engineering, in particular to methods of increase of floatage of military track laying vehicles in case of flooding of manned compartments. The method consists in that at flooding of manned compartments a signal is automatically transmitted through electricity cables from the water detection sensors installed in manned compartments to the electromagnet with a stem, a coupling is enabled, a torque is transmitted from the internal combustion engine across the shaft through the coupling to the high performance compressor. By pressure air is supplied through the gas distribution system, for example pipelines, through valves the inflatable rubber buoyancy bags, the folding metal frameworks are opened which are fixed automatically, the volume displacement of the combat vehicle is increased, the car is held afloat, allowing no its flooding.
EFFECT: possibility of increase of floatage of military track laying vehicles at their damage at negotiating water obstacles.
