SUBSTANCE: dummy needle (10) of needle bar of machine (100) for looping of legwears, that contains fixed needle bar (110), section (11) for positioning relatively to the fixed needle bar (110), first and second side walls (13, 14) and intermediate wall (15) connected with the first and second side walls (13, 14) to create sliding groove (16). The first side wall (13) has tapering bottom end (121), which contains the lowest tip (122) and inclined edge 123. The second side wall (14) has lower length in comparison with length of the first side wall (13) and has tapering bottom end, that contains the lowest end (141) and inclined edge (142), that continues upwards from the lowest end (141) of the second side wall (14). The inclined edge (142) of the second side wall (14) and inclined edge (213) of the first side wall (13) jointly create the bottom aperture (163) of the sliding groove (16).

EFFECT: invention suggests dummy needle of the needle bar of the machine for looping of legwears, that can ensure high stability of components and smooth execution of the looping operations.
