FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsive engineering, particularly, to aircraft engines and can be used in hypersonic craft or space rocket system to fly in atmosphere, for example, carrier shuttle rocker stages. Claimed engine comprises housing, compressor, turbine jet nozzle and main combustion chamber connected via air duct with compressor. Gas generator is arranged outside the housing. Oxidizer and fuel lines are connected to inlet of the latter while gas duct communicated with air duct is connected to outlet of gas generator.

EFFECT: engine in-flight starting, higher afterburning thrust, particularly, at higher altitudes.
