SUBSTANCE: invention relates to search techniques. A method of facilitating search in corpuses for a computer system comprises preliminary semantic-syntactic analysis of a corpus with determination and storage in memory of values of linguistic parameters of sentences, including comparison of words of the sentence of a certain plurality of possible lexical meaning - each with a corresponding estimate of the probability of inclusion of said lexical meaning in the sentence, and constructing semantic structures of sentences making up the corpus, and subsequent indexation thereof and storage of the indices. Fragments are then searched in pre-indexed corpuses which satisfy a query. Relevance of the results is evaluated and the search results are ranked according to relevance.
EFFECT: high accuracy of information search by allowing the user to obtain only relevant search results owing to the use of semantic queries.
