FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to valves industry, and is intended to seal the rotating ball valve with top connector. In the described valve option the sealing assembly contains O-ring (44) located inside the valve and shifted towards the ball element of the valve. The seal holder (46) is located between the O-ring and valve body, and is secured to the valve body with possibility of disconnection using some bolts located inside the valve. The initial leak path (50) is created between the O-ring and seal holder. The secondary leak path (52) is created between the seal holder and valve body. The first and second secondary seals (82, 56) prevent fluid leaks respectively via the initial and secondary leak paths. There is option of the valve manufacturing with sealing assembly and method of O-ring installation.
EFFECT: group of inventions improves operation reliability due to the sealing assembly installation and removal without valve disconnection from the pipeline.
