FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pipes are produced by ESR of hollow 660×out.180-280×2100±50 mm ingots with diameter-to-wall depth ratio D/S = 2.75-3.50, its larger values being relates to hollow ingots with smaller wall depth. Sais ingots are pierced and turned to hollow 640×out.180-300×2100±50 mm ingots-billets with diameter-to-wall depth ratio D/S = 2.9-3.8, its larger values being relates to hollow ingots-billets with smaller wall depth. Said ingots-billets are heated to 1200-1220°C. Said ingots-billets are pierced-rolled at helical rolling mill to 640×out.340-440×3120-2520 mm sleeves with rolling-out µr making 1.45-1.23 and increase in diameter δ = 0 at 425, 400, 375, 350 and 325 mm diameter mandrels depending on the sleeve geometrical sizes. Said sleeves are rolled at Pilger mills with rolling-out µp equal to 4.57-2.38 to 465×25-75×11500-5000 mm pipes with total rolling-put µΣ=µrµp equal to 6.63-2.93, larger values being related to pipes with smaller wall depth, and with reduction in diameter Δ = 26.6%. Pilger heads and seed ends, processing wastes, are cut by hot cutting saws. Pipes are straightened, heat processed, etched and subjected to ultrasound control and acceptance.
EFFECT: lower metal input, higher efficiency of PRU with Pilger mills.
