FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: bedder planter comprises the ridgers fixed to the frame, sowing units, compacting rollers. The ridgers comprise a rack, an A-hoe, a mouldboard and a bracket. The bracket is mounted on the rack. On the bracket an adjustment disc with an axis is rigidly secured, and an additional disc is mounted under the adjustment disc with the ability of rotation about its axis. The adjustment and the additional discs have openings located on the periphery at the same distance from their centre. Under the additional disc a guide bracket is rigidly fixed with a semi-axis and a mouldboard. The mouldboard is made flat and is mounted on the semi-axis with the ability to vary its position in height along the rack with respect to the cutting edges of the A-hoe and the attack angle in the horizontal plane and with the possibility of fixing in a required position. The mouldboards of each pair of the ridgers are mounted symmetrically with respect to the line of seeds sown at an angle, which aperture is directed towards the movement of the bedder planter. The compacting rollers comprise a frame, spherical discs, compacting rings, an axis, a rod with a spring and arranged behind the ridgers. The diameter d of the compacting rings has a size determined by the ratio where h₁ is the value of compacting the soil by the compacting rings, r_ls is the radius of a lump of soil, φ₁ is the angle of friction between the surfaces of the compacting ring and a lump of soil, φ₂ is the angle of friction between the surfaces of a lump of soil and soil. The diameter of the spherical discs is appropriately determined according to the formula D=d+2(H+h₂), where H is the height of the soil ridge, h₂ is the depth of embedding of each spherical disc into the soil.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase the quality of planting row crops, and formation of soil ridges over the sown seeds.
