FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: in the process of operation of the grain combine harvester the grain separated on the straw rack and the upper sieves is measured by the sensors at locations in their central part, limited by 1/3 of their length from the beginning and the end of the said working bodies. The data obtained are used to construct the tendency of grain quantity reduction in the grain heap and correlated with the values of the calculated curve of the grain separation on the straw rack and the sieves under optimum conditions. The difference in the values is taken as the control signal of the forward speed of the combine motion. The sensors are mounted under the straw rack and the upper sieve in the middle part equidistant from the beginning and end of these working bodies. The sensors are connected to the control unit which compares the values received from the sensors to the data of the calculated curve of the grain separation under optimal loading of the harvester thresher. At deviation of the actual values from the calculated ones the control unit generates a signal to change the speed of the combine motion.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of operation of the grain combine harvester.
