SUBSTANCE: navigation system includes an inertial navigation system with one input and one output, a Doppler velocity and drift angle meter with one output, an adder having first and second inputs and one output, an estimation unit and a controller. The output of the inertial navigation system is connected to the first input of the adder and the output of the Doppler velocity and drift angle meter is connected to the second input of the adder, the output of which is connected to the input of the estimation unit, which is in the form of a Kalman filter. The output of the estimation unit is connected to the input of the controller. The navigation system is provided with a second estimation unit, which is in the form of a Kalman filter, an averaging unit, a comparator unit, a switch and a second controller. The output of the adder is connected to the input of the second estimation unit, and the first output of the first estimation unit is connected to the input of the averaging unit, the output of which is connected to the first input of the comparator unit, the output of which is connected to the first input of the switch.
