FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: staple, made of material with shape-memory effect, is applied on wound edges. Before application staple is plastically deformed at temperature lower than temperature of implantation to give it shape, convenient for installation. Skin, muscle, cartilage are successively sewn with sharpened ends of staple for not more than 2/3 of thickness of the latter, without penetrating mucosa. Medical staple, made of biologically inert material, together with live tissue, contains bridge, connected with two legs by means of two arches, limiters and sharpened ends. Proximal ends of legs are located in space between arches and limiters of medical staple, and, at least, bridge and arch of medical staple are made from material, possessing shape-memory effect.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to render help without hospitalisation, avoid eyelid entropion or ectropion.
