FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inspecting self-propelled vehicles and can be used for inspection in order to detect concealed items, substances and materials, the transportation of which is prohibited. The method is carried out by placing inside a vehicle a device having at least one analysis sample concentrator, a GPS/GLONASS navigator, a microprocessor and a radio transmitter connected to the navigator and the microprocessor. After holding for a period of time sufficient for the sample concentrator to reliably gather information on impurities present in the atmosphere inside the vehicle, the device is taken for analysis for content of prohibited cargo and impurities adsorbed by the concentrator are analysed.
EFFECT: simpler technique with improved safety and a wider field of use thereof.
