FIELD: physics, navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, particularly to unmanned aerial vehicles designed to counteract aerial reconnaissance equipment. An apparatus for suppressing small unmanned aerial vehicles (SUAV) consists of a SUAV, an automatic control system with artificial intelligence elements, a parachute and a detonator. The SUAV is fitted with all-round looking cameras which enable, through an on-board processor, to determine, in passive mode, spatial coordinates of an enemy SUAV in the optical band of electromagnetic waves by selecting a certain range and flight altitude for precision release of the suppressing apparatus. The suppressing apparatus consists of multiple compartments located in the lower part of the fuselage and serving to hold suppressing apparatus, having strict sectional directivity of suppressing elements in the form of paint which forms an impermeable film on the surveillance means of the enemy SUAV.

EFFECT: suppressing an enemy SUAV at any flight altitude.
