FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: unipolar machine contains the magnetised ferromagnetic toroid, the toroid from non-magnetic material, and the housing-stator is designed with covers from non-magnetic material and magnetoconductive material, while the axis of rotation of the rotor made from magnetosoft material fixes the axisymmetrically magnetised ferromagnetic toroid - from one side, and the magnetic connection washer - from another side, located with the minimum gap from the magnetically conductive cover of the housing-stator inside which opposite to the magnetised ferromagnetic toroid closely to the housing-stator cylinder the toroid from non-magnetic material is installed with the working winding which is winded with turn-touching the turns of which are located at the minimum distance from the magnetised ferromagnetic toroid and adjoin to the cylindrical housing-stator. On the housing stator cover from non-magnetic material the stator working winding leads are installed which are isolated from it, and bearings of the rotor rotation axis are fixed in the named covers.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the internal resistance of the working winding of the unipolar machine, its implementation without sliding contacts at considerable simplification of the design and increase of reliability level and service life and it is recommended to use in electric machines and traction engines in railway transport when using heavy duty neodymium magnets.
