FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: frame antenna comprises two multichannel semi-frames with a cross-cut and a transformer unit, wherein each semi-frame is in the form of an arched metal pipe, inside of which there are m sections of a coaxial cable, coaxial cable shields and corresponding metal pipes at both sides are shorted; the shields of the first ends of the semi-frames are connected to the shield of the transformer unit; the centre conductors of the coaxial cables of the first multichannel semi-frame at the second end are connected to shields at the second end of the second multichannel semi-frame; the centre conductors of coaxial cables at the second end of the second multichannel semi-frame are connected to the shields at the second end of the first multichannel semi-frame; at the first end of the multichannel semi-frames between the centre conductors and the shield of each coaxial cable there is a load in the form of an element of the primary transformer coil of the transformer unit; the midpoint of the secondary transformer coil is earthed, and its extreme points are the symmetrical output of the frame antenna.
EFFECT: greater effective height of the frame antenna in a given frequency range while maintaining geometric dimensions thereof.
