FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining molybdenum dithiocarbamate composition. Method includes stages of obtaining di-tridecylamine (DTDA), intermediate product from butylenes raw material, containing more than 50% of 2-butylene, and obtaining from intermediate product DTDA C11-C14 molybdenum dithiocarbamate, in which alkyl groups, included into its composition, contain on average more than 98% of C13. Method for obtaining lubricating composition and reaction product are also claimed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain molybdenum dithiocarbamate composition, which has better solubility in oils with high viscosity index and/or at cooler temperatures.
