SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used for separation of grain mixtures by particle length. The grain separator comprises a cellular cylinder, a trough with the output screw, a drive and a frame. The trough has a removable lid with a longitudinal bar covering the trough. On the front and rear ends of the removable lid the vertical walls are attached. On the longitudinal bar a retainer is located.

EFFECT: use of the removable lid on the trough of the grain separator extends the capabilities of use.
