FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in order to perform combined decontamination, disinfection and detection of traces of dinitrotoluene-based explosives, the method includes aerosol spraying of the surface with a multifunctional indicator composition which contains the following, wt %: didecyl dimethyl benzylammonium chloride 25.0-30.0; alkyl dimethylamine - 1.0; alkylbenzene sulphonate - 5.5-7.0; glutaric aldehyde - 1.0; methyl alcohol - 2.0-5.0; nonionic surfactant (OP-7) - 0.5-1.5; oxalic acid - 0.5-2.0; sodium hexametaphosphate - 0.5-1.0; dithizone - 0.04-0.07; water - up to 100%. The multifunctional indicator composition is applied by spraying the analysed surface using an aerosol device from a distance of 0.1-0.2 m from the surface on the leeward side at a rate of 0.3-0.5 l/m2. Decontamination and disinfection is provided not less than half an hour after treatment, and detection of traces of dinitrotoluene-based explosives is based on the appearance of a characteristic indication effect - brown colouring on the surface of the object 3-5 minutes after application of the multifunctional indicator composition, which remains for a long time.
EFFECT: high efficiency and reliability of treatment.
