FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices to investigate properties of materials by application of mechanical forces to it during correlation of parameters of an attenuated oscillating process, excited in the investigated material with mobility of determined structural-kinetic elements resulting in local changes of elastic characteristics and in general to change of strength properties in a wide temperature-frequency interval. A metering converter comprises an oscillating system with a torsion pendulum installed on a needle support, a device to excite torsion oscillations of the pendulum, a tested sample heating furnace, mobile and fixed platforms with facilities to fix the tested sample and a system to pickup and process information. At the same time the oscillating system is made as resting in the centre of mass by a needle support against a support plate rigidly fixed on the mobile platform, installed by means of rolling contact bearings on the fixed platform. The torsion pendulum is made in the form of a fastening ring with a yoke, arms of which are attached to the fastening ring at two diametrically opposite sides and aligned perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the tested sample, and also weight attached to yoke arms, making it possible to change the oscillating process oscillation period.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements, increased service life of a converter.
