FIELD: physics, navigation.

SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to designing missile guidance systems and can be used in anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) and surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems. Said missile system includes two guided missiles, having series-connected radiation detectors and a control unit. The system also includes lifting and rotary platforms with drives, fitted with thermal-television sight units and a laser beam unit, optically coupled with the radiation detector of the missile. To solve tasks set for the system, the invention employs a computer, information display unit, control panels, automatic target trackers and azimuth and elevation rotary angle sensors installed on the lifting and rotary platforms. The system also includes a target detection and designation system. Said device carries out the corresponding missile guiding method.

EFFECT: enabling firing of two missiles at two targets from one carrier in order to improve effectiveness of the system.
